Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 7.5" dia. tin litho and plastic battery-operated "Space Patroler" flying saucer toy made in Japan by Yoshiya, 1960s. Box lid is wonderfully illustrated and has some corner creases but retains its shape. Fine/VF. Toy features tin litho top and plastic bottom and lifts up and down, spins w/"Space Sound" and features rotating flashing lights. All functions work. Exc. Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 8" dia. tin litho and plastic battery-operated "Space Ship X-5" flying saucer toy made in Japan by Masutoku, 1960s. First style box w/lid that features perforated area over plastic window meant to be removed for display. This is intact, though a few perforations are loose. Complete w/original cardboard insert. VF. Toy features 3D tin litho astronaut pilot (w/vinyl head and antenna) in cockpit under clear plastic dome. Top of saucer is tin litho while bottom half is plastic. Toy features "Non-Stop Action" and saucer spins as it moves, along w/beeping noise and flashing dome lights. All functions work. NM.
