9-1/8" tall painted composition doll w/jointed arms and movable head. Knickerbocker Toy Co. Raised maker's name and Disney copyright text on doll's backside. 1936. This is orange paint color variety, w/orange gloves, pants and shoes. No fading to paint as is often found. Doll's head shows some wear w/paint rubs and a few tiny flakes to edges of ears. Nose also has a few small chips as well as .25" flake to back of head at base of neck. Fingertips have some minor paint rubs and arms show wear at shoulders. Body has .25" area of surface crazing on back pants button area and ankles/feet have some surface crazelines but all remains structurally sound. Fine overall. Great composition Mickey Mouse doll.
