Item Description
9" tall painted composition doll w/jointed arms and movable head. Knickerbocker Toy Co. Raised "© Walt Disney - Knickerbocker Toy Co. NYC" on Mickey's backside. 1936. Knickerbocker also made a matching Donald Duck cowboy doll. Doll has the original suede/wool material chaps w/attached suede double holster belt w/metal accent rivets, though chaps have cracks to backs. Comes w/matched pair of vintage 1.75" long nickel-plated cast metal guns. Complete w/original fabric bandana and pressed felt cowboy hat w/stitched fabric edge. Doll has some condition issues which include 1/8" chip to neck (though not visible as head covers this area), doll has had feet reattached and body has scattered paint flaking, mainly to feet and chest. Head has some black color touch-ups along neckline in back, some scattered paint flaking and chip off tip of nose. White area of face has some small scattered cracks to surface. Body is VG overall. Head is VG/Fine. Outfit/hat is aged but Fine overall. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
