10.5x14" complete Dec. 9, 1940 issue featuring bw photo image of Rogers on cover. 1940 was the year Rogers won an Best Actress Academy Award for "Kitty Foyle." This magazine cover was featured in the film's opening credits. Four-page article within including several bw photos showcasing Rogers and the film as well as the woman the film is based upon. Rogers has signed in black felt tip pen at lower left on front cover, adding "Warmest Blessings" inscription. No mailing label. Issue has scattered handling wear w/pinch creases to spine and edge wear w/two .25" tears to right margin of front cover. Fine overall. Signature remains bold and displays Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
