Item Description
Vintage 8x10" glossy bw photo shows Crane in character as Colonel Robert E. Hogan from the CBS sitcom "Hogan's Heroes" that aired from 1965 to 1971. Crane has signed in dark blue felt tip pen, inscribing "Best Wishes From Hogan - Bob Crane." "Wishes" part of inscription has smudged, but remains legible. Tragically, while on tour for his play "Beginner's Luck" in June, 1978, Crane was found murdered in his Scottsdale, AZ. apartment at the age of 49, a murder that remains officially unsolved to this day. Photo has lt. corner tip wear but is o/w Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
