11x17" newsprint ad page from Sept. 30, 1964 issue of "Women's Wear Daily" features stretchy DC Comics character Plastic Man drawn in six different panels, his body contorted into all sorts of shapes. ©1964 NPP, Inc. He is advertising for the Ascot Textile Corporation's "Living Lining," indicating its elasticity. Text reads "Plastic Man Gives Ascot's New Stretch Lining The Works (And It Does)." Sheet has been folded into quarters and has been attached to worn sheet of black construction paper. This sheet has label listing Ascot as "Client" as well as ad agency, media and year. Ad sheet has four strips of aging from tape and is overall evenly aged, VF. Neat specialty art done for this ad.
