Item Description
4.25x5-7/8" Italian Christmas card featuring "Patricia" art by J&S Boland. Inside has Italian greeting which translates to "Best Wishes For Christmas And The New Year." Card has been signed in light blue fountain pen "Dearest Clifton - With All Our Love - Audrey And Mel" The "And Mel" part of the inscription (which has slight smudge) was inscribed by Hepburn's first husband Mel Ferrer, whom she married in 1955, ultimately divorcing in 1968. Opposite side of card has personal message in Hepburn's hand, reading "Terribly Sorry You Have Not Been Well - I Thank You For Your Sweet Message. XXX" and adds a hand-drawn heart. Back of card has pencil "1959" date. Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
