Item Description
4.75" tall tin litho lidded container w/2.25" dia. designed like a circular brick building w/several windows and a door along w/sign that reads "Simon DeWit's Gestampte Muisjes." Originally contained figural Mickey Mouse candies. Each of the 14 windows features a totally different image of either Mickey or Minnie Mouse, some unique to this tin. Image at door depicts Mickey w/black eye while image on lid is Mickey peeking out of a skylight window. Scattered wear including paint wear to rims and some trace of oxidation to underside. For the most part, images are not affected. Color remains deep and strong. Fine overall. Rare, only a few we've offered in our 48 years. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
