Item Description
3-3/8" dia. lidded china box has two different full body seated Mickey and Minnie Mouse figures, each 3-1/8" tall. Total height of box is 5-1/8" tall. Made in Germany, 1930s. Underside has incised company mark, "Germany" text as well as "17866" number. One Mickey holds the remnants of actual flowers in hole in hand while other Mickey plays banjo. Both are seated upon large sausage w/tied ends. Aside from expected brittleness of 70+ year old flowers, the figures' ears have some lt. paint wear. Still bright, clean and glossy. VF/Exc. Rare and first we've seen in our 48 years. Incredibly charming piece. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
