Complete set of five high quality marionettes standing 7.25" to 19" tall. Marionettes include Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Sylvester the Cat and Tweety Bird. These were produced in 1990 and used as New York Toy Fair display examples, less than 12 were made of each marionette. Each has wood and/or composition body/head w/stuffed fabric arms and legs for Bugs, Daffy, Porky (arms only) and Sylvester. Additionally, Bugs has felt ears, and felt greenery to carrot molded into his hand. He also has plastic whiskers. Porky has felt jacket and bow-tie. Each is complete w/wooden controller units w/original strings. Underside of each controller has stamped "A Bob Baker Marionette" text and copyright. Underside of each foot has "©1990 Warner Bros." stamped text. NM. Extremely high quality marionette, few were made, possibly due to the high cost of materials and the time-consuming nature of producing such detailed marionettes. Very rare and the first set to be offered at auction.
