Item Description
Ovaltine Premium. 4.5x6" manual/code book w/12 pages for Secret Squadron members. Contents include Official Manual/Code Book which features photo of Richard Webb as Captain Midnight plus illustration and description of Silver Dart Decoder Badge. Manual also includes information on 15th anniversary Captain Midnight Ovaltine shaker mug and Flight Commander Silver Signet Ring. Back cover has Flight Commanders promotion application which remains blank. Manual is Exc. Rest of lot includes unused membership card which is Exc.; letter to club member and mailing envelope which shows obvious aging/wear and is VG. Original cardboard mailer insert contains complete 2.5" long bright silver plastic decoder badge w/removable red plastic nose piece which pulls out to reveal interior tube-like area for secret messages. Underside has bar pin mounted in a groove. Underside also has a movable blue pointer w/the numbers "1/2/3" and these can be used in conjunction w/the surrounding alphabet letters to code/decode messages. Full bright luster. NM and as nice as they come. Scarce.
