Item Description
F.B.I. agent Melvin Purvis had brought John Dillinger and Pretty Boy Floyd to justice and went on to host a radio show in the mid-1930s sponsored by Post Toasties. This lot has all eight premium badges issued including six shield badges w/individual ranks and two different “Girls Division” pins. Next are two different brass rings, one from 1936 for Junior G-Man Corps”, the other from 1937 for “Law and Order” patrol. Seven paper items include: “Chief Operative Commission” certificate, “secret Passport” card, I.D. card, “Confidential” instruction manual, and three different “Free Prizes!” premium offer illustrated folders. “Captain” badge is worn. Just good. Prize folders have a few pencil scribbles, otherwise items are Fine/VF. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection. Comes w/COA.
