Item Description
All items are from the 1930s and feature wonderful art by Vernon Grant. First are a pair of double-sided die-cut cardboard store hanging signs, each about 9x11. From a larger seven piece set, these two train cars feature Snap, Crackle and Pop w/bananas and peaches. Few lt. creases and scattered aging but vibrant color. Fine. Next are two sets of premium "Magic Color Cards." Both 4.5x6.5 envelopes contain set of four cards. One set remains unused/unpunched and complete w/brush while other set has been punched/painted as intended. Unused set (few loose perforations) is Exc./NM w/Fine envelope. Other set is neatly done and VF w/Good envelope Lot also includes 22 different 5x6.5" cereal box backs. All feature a nursery rhyme story w/illustrations. These include - Old King Cole, Simple Simon, Jack Sprat, Hickory Dickory Dock, Wee Willie Winkie, Little Tommy Tittlemouse, Little Pussy, If All The World Was Apple Pie, The Black Sheep, Sing A Song Of Sixpence, Doctor Foster's Trip, City Mouse And Country Mouse, Little Boy Blue, Little Miss Muffet, Jack And Jill, Humpty-Dumpty, The Princess Who Couldn't Dance, Hansel And Gretel, Mary Had A Little Lamb, Twelve Dancing Princesses, Peter Piper And Will-O-The-Wisp, and Dame Codlin. Few margins cut unevenly but most neatly cut and clean. Fine/VF overall. An instant collection.
