3.25” dia. .75” tall. Papier mache with color image and additional text “The Hero Of The War With Mexico” above right. Beautifully detailed. Tiniest trace of paint missing at lower left barely noticeable. Scattered crazing seen in reflected light; however, this strong color and attention to detail is superior to most examples. Base has .25 deep x.5” long chip on inner rim totally covered when lid is in place. Hake #3004 with 2004 guide value of $1,650.00. Overall Exc. Julie Powell Collection.
