Item Description
First is 6x8" stiff black plastic sheet, 1/8" thick with relief portrait and relief panel of text below "John Fitzgerald Kennedy/35th President Of The United States." No other markings. One seen. Exc. Second is 5.75" large, heavy brass "Medal" with stylized relief portrait and small facsimile artist signature which appears to be "Certo ©1964." Below image is "1964" flanking five Olympic rings. Lower beveled edge has inscribed text "Sports Memorial." On reverse center raised ring reads "First Issue" with three lines of text reading "John F. Kennedy Sports Memorial Medal Issued By/The Amateur Athletic Union Of The United States And The/Sports Governing Bodies Who Direct Our Nation's Olympic Teams." Exc. Both are first we've offered.
