8-1/8x10" glossy bw still for the American release of the 1959 Hammer Films Gothic horror/mystery film based on the novel of the same name by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The film starred Peter Cushing as Sherlock Holmes, Christopher Lee as Sir Henry Baskerville and André Morell as Doctor Watson. This still shows both Morell and Cushing, a pistol held in his hand. As noted by small text at bottom margin, this film was released in the US by United Artists. Still has been signed in red ink by Cushing at bottom of photo image, protruding slightly into bottom margin. Scattered lt. handling wear but Exc. overall. Great image. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
