Item Description
For a short while Timely Comics renamed themselves and moved heavily into the horror genre. They still attempted to publish superheroes, but the taste of the reader had changed. Prior to becoming Justice Comics, the title had been known as Wacky Duck. While occasionally as extreme as other crime books, the title was one of the more direct assaults on the new forced morality that was starting to grab the public’s attention. Issue #8 even contained an anti-Wertham editorial. The pages are off-white to white. This unrestored book is CGC-certified 9.4 (NM). According to the CGC Census the book is the highest-graded copy they have seen. It is also recognized as part of the Mile High Pedigree.
