Auction #211 - Part II
Item numbers 1197 through 2870 in auction 211
Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 18.5" long tin litho rifle made in Japan by Nomura, 1950s. Despite being marketed as a space rifle, gun has very plain design, more of a military design than anything and was likely reused by the company when space toys started to become popular. Opaque plastic windows at base of barrel light when trigger is pulled and a firing sound is produced. Trigger has some oxidation but gun is working and VF overall. Box is complete w/original cardboard inserts. Lid shows moderate wear, w/one corner split (w/1.75x2" piece missing), two .5" slivers off edges and grease pencil price. Main lid panel also has dust soiling and some creases, w/10.5" split. Good/VG.
