Lot of eight tin litho wind-up birds, including two in cages, one w/7.5" tall stand. Rest of birds measure between 3" and 4" tall. All were made in the 1930s. Two caged birds and one on perch on box base were made in Germany. Scattered aging and wear w/moderate dust soiling to cage floor on one toy. Toys work and move, but bellows on open undersides no longer produce sound. VG-VF. Four 5.25" long tin litho birds by Lindstrom w/built-in keys hop when wound. Scattered lt. wear w/some paint nicks/scratches. Fine-VF. Last is mohair-covered bird is unmarked but by Schuco and comes w/key. Scattered loss of mohair on tail feathers but works and VF.
