Item Description
Lot of three sand toys, produced in the early 1900s to the 1930s. 7x13x13-3/8" tall painted tin sand funnel toy w/wheeled hopper cart that takes sand down incline, dumps and returns via counterweight has raised lettering at bottom of incline that lists patent date as 1909. Unmarked, but likely Wolverine. Scattered wear from use w/trace oxidation on incline. Fine. Other two in lot were both produced in the 1930s. First is 9" tall "Busy Mike" sand toy by Chein that dumps sand from funnel into hopper attached to die-cut tin litho figure of Mike, who seems to dump it when full. Scattered wear from use w/some small areas of bare metal showing. Fine. 3.25x7.75x10-7/8" tall toy was likely made by Ohio Art and features painted tin design similar to "Busy Mike" toy, but w/addition of sand elevator and hopper at bottom. Scattered wear from use w/trace oxidation to chain pulley gear. Fine.
