Archival mat has 13x28-3/8” opening revealing thin art board w/nine panels dated “7-22”. Well dressed Brenda is shopping in toy department w/friend Abretha Breeze in first five panels, then they go to look at Brick Andrews home and see it’s for rent. Back of art has handwritten ink text “I Hand Colored This Brenda Starr Original Dale Messick”. Logo is a hand colored photo stat. Bright and Exc. Complete w/Chicago Tribune copyright sticker. Nice example wonderfully hand colored by the legendary female comic strip artist who began the strip in 1940.
