Dec. 1938 “South Sea Stories” has Rod Ruth front cover w/hero type in pith helmet about to hit drunk sailor who has dagger. Back cover art by Settles has Blackbeard’s pirate ship. Only five issues published. Feb. 1941 “True Gangster Stories” second series has cover w/hero type w/gun about to rescue tied up blonde from sinister oriental w/bloody sword. Inside artists include Creig Flessel. Only two issues published. “Shock” for March 1948 has cover w/skeleton w/dagger in coffin threatening redhead. First series. Only three issues published. Typical cover edge wear. Covers VG, pages Fine overall. Nice group.
