Item Description
Ashtray and lighter display set has 3-5/8” tall brass accent figure in center w/pitcher and metal plate w/text “Presented To Jim Konstanty By The Kiwanis Club Of Philadelphia In Recognition Of His Outstanding Season November 1950”. Lighter has oxidation and needs flint to spark, otherwise unused and Exc. Relief pitcher Konstanty was named National League MVP in 1950 when the Phillies won the pennant, played on the All-Star team, and started Game One of the World Series against the Yankees, going on to play w/them from 1954 to mid-1956. Nicely designed. Unique.
