Auction #211 - Part II
Item numbers 1197 through 2870 in auction 211
Item Description
Lot of five unfinished (unpainted and unused) resin shark teeth, three measuring 1.5" long and two measuring 2" long. Obtained from Glen Evans, the Department Head of Special Effects at Universal City Studios, Inc. These teeth were designed for use in "Bruce," the large shark prop used in filming Steven Spielberg's classic 1975 horror thriller "Jaws" based on Peter Benchley's novel of the same name. "Bruce" was named after Spielberg's lawyer and proved to be a technical nightmare to film at sea. Teeth have some clay residue from casting but are o/w Exc.
