Item Description
17.75x19.75" frame contains professionally and attractively double-matted animation production cel showing close-up of The Grinch, w/art area measuring 5x8.5". Cel is an actual production cel used in the making of the Chuck Jones-directed Christmas TV special "How The Grinch Stole Christmas," which first aired on CBS-TV Dec. 18, 1966 and has aired regularly every year since then. Jones has signed cel at lower right in black felt tip pen and cel also has handwritten "©1966 Turner Entertainment Co." text. Cel also has Linda Jones (Chuck Jones's wife) Ent. Inc. numbered seal. Mat features snowflake designs pressed into mat and has brass plate w/"Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! Original Production Art - 1966" engraved text. Exc. and ready for display. Comes with COA signed by Linda Jones.
