Item Description
Complete set of 30 buttons issued shortly after Hoover's 1929 inauguration. Each 1.25" button has color portrait of the President against the background in various shades of green accented by some tan or brown coloring. Button edge has President's full name along with his dates in office. The set is by Bastian but without back papers or their name. Couple small scratches on a few, but only showing in reflected light. Overall Exc. Only our third complete set and prices over four decades have ranged from around $300 up to $1,800 in Auction #195. A modest opening bid.
