Item Description
3.75x6.75" First Day Cover w/May 5, 1961 Port Canaveral, FL. postmark. FDC has been signed by both John A. Glenn, Jr. and Alan B. Shepard, Jr. in black and blue ink. FDC has mailing label for Dr. E.V. Smith, Jr., who obtained these signatures at the time of the space flights. Dr. Smith collected stamps as well as the signatures of the nation's astronauts (see previous item #1045). FDC has some lt. even aging and is Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
