Item Description
8.25x11.25x4.5" deep china cookie jar by Abingdon. Incised "692" on underside w/Abingdon stamp. Jar also has Abingdon foil sticker which shows slight wear. Double-sided cookie jar has relief image of witch flying on broomstick against crescent moon and flying bat. Jar lid handle is cat w/arched back. Handle has professional repair at both feet which blends somewhat. c. 1950s. Displays Exc. Classic cookie jar. Listed in the Cookie Jar Book by Moran at $2,000.
