Each is a miniature 3-dimensional metal charm depicting a running pig. Small loop on the back and beneath the tail is a small viewing hole. The anti-McKinley pig is in silvery gray luster with traces of silver remaining but not a great deal. When viewed an oval photo of McKinley is seen with the caption beneath "Our Next President." The anti-Bryan pig has more of a muted gold tone. This one when held to light reveals a crystal clear rectangular picture with caption below "For President/W.J. Bryan." This political concept that a certain candidate would be President 'In A Pigs Ass' dates back to the 1868 Grant/Seymour contest and was used in successive elections up to this pair from 1896.
