Item Description
First is a very rare leather pin back 2" wide die-cut in the shape of a Rough Rider's hat and inscribed "1904/Roosevelt." Reverse has original piece of fabric tape holding a vertical stickpin. Exc. Second is his classic 1898 New York button reading "For Governor/Theodore Roosevelt." Bottom edge has a loop through a hole and once held a lucky rabbits foot. The foot is gone as well as the back paper that explained it. Side edge of the button has a little age but only a pair of 1/16" slivers show along the extreme right edge and over 99% of the front surface remains clean and glossy. Next is a 1.5" solid celluloid poker chip. Each side has image of TR on horseback. He is in his 1898 uniform and holds his saber above his head as his horse gallops forward. One side has some minor wear of the coloration but the other side remains Exc. Last is a .75" brass medallion with loop at top. One side pictures "Wm. McKinley" while other side depicts "Theo. Roosevelt" in 1898 uniform. Very minor luster loss.
