Item Description
Hake #130. 1.25". This button is rarely offered and this example has a peculiar condition problem. While the button has very high gloss and does not have any stain, the tone of the gold background varies from a bright color to a dull color. In addition the celluloid covering seems to be a bit extra thick and in some places it created air marks which probably also account for the variation in the gold color. Back paper is one we seldom see from a Newark firm "International Badge & Novelty Co." Tiny surface paper loss on a couple of letters but vast majority remains. Only example we've been able to offer in five decades and from the Julie Powell Collection.
