Item Description
Unlisted in Hake. Cello on brass hanger reads "Reading, Pa." Lower ribbons read "Washington Association." The red ribbon has a 2" stress separation along its upper left edge but most of this is hidden by the blue ribbon that lays on top so that little of the separation shows. Rest of the piece is bright and clean and includes strands of brass thread accents. The celluloid is 1.25" in a brass rim. Very impressive piece and rare. We believe "Washington Association" refers to the name of a Reading fire department.
