Item Description
First is a 5/8" real photo with brass rim which is unlisted in Hake. Coloration is extremely light on the left and upper sides of his portrait and under magnification just a hint of the text at the top "For Governor" is readable. The piece doesn't have any damage but was obviously flawed in the making. Next is 1.25" stark black and white real photo celluloid. This has back paper by Nadel & Shimmel, NY. This is Hake #9 although that example has a brass frame tabbed on whereas this one does not. The Hake 2004 guide value on this is $400.00. Clean and NM displaying Mint. Julie Powell Collection.
