Item Description
Hake #2072. .75" with W&H paper. Reverse has two dots sized areas where celluloid did not fold perfectly smoothly beneath the collet and these two spots make barely noticeable bumps on the right side edge but all else displays Mint as made. Hoover declared his candidacy in 1920 with this slogan "Make Hoover President." There are several different buttons that carry this slogan. Photo on the button shows him as a younger man then the photos used on his 1928 items.
