Item Description
Two of these items are in the Hake books and two are unlisted. We thought they were made for the 1952 nominees until we came upon this example for 1952 hopeful General MacArthur. Each piece is 1-1/8" diameter with a doughnut-like fabric covered rim surrounding a brass center ring with clear celluloid over a photo. Reverses are bright silver luster metal with a small shank. The Adlai in this group is Hake #116 while the Ike with a red stripe on the upper edge is Hake #191. The Ike with blue at the top is unlisted in Hake as is the MacArthur. All are Essentially Mint. Julie Powell Collection.
