Item Description
Lot consists of 11x14" lobby card for the first chapter ("Journey into Space") of the 1951 Columbia serial. Card has nice images of space flight and fights. Card has some handling wear w/creases at corners and very light aging. Card is VF. Press book measures 12.25x18" and has 12 pages. "The All-Time Serial Scoop, The Hottest Hero Of All!" This press book has several features including cross-promotional advertisements for Post cereals, Captain Video products including sweaters, costumes, holster sets, wallets and more. Also included is ad for comic book, several scenes from serial and a contest to dress like a robot. Last three pages are devoted to ads for posters for serial. Has some handling wear and horizontal crease as folded. Pinch creases at spine. Fine.
