Item Description
Each is 7/8". This former Missouri congressmen, along with Boies (previous item) was a leading contender prior to the convention. On the first ballot he actually outdid Bryan receiving 235 votes to Bryan's 137. The first of these by W&H reads "For President Richard P. Bland." The second has a brass back and stud with no maker name. This one reads "Silver Dick Bland" and does not seem to have any celluloid covering but rather has the image printed on paper which was lightly coated for protection. Couple of pinpoints of color off his face with just a little tan tone on the background. Only example we've seen of this.
