Item Description
He was House majority leader from 1911 to 1915 and a Democratic hopeful in 1912 with support among southern delegates. Wilson prevailed and although he offered Underwood the VP nomination, Underwood declined. Original leather strap has some black color worn off but the celluloid and the mirror both remain Exc. and the celluloid displays Mint.
