Complete set of four cast metal ships, 4.5" to 5" long, w/individual illustrated cardboard boxes. 1937. Set consists of #1031 Battle Cruiser, #1032 Destroyer, #1033 Attack Ship and USN Los Angeles Zep (not marked Buck Rogers but part of this set and was issued in the large boxed set consisting of these ships plus figures of Buck Rogers and Wilma Deering). Three of the boxes feature "Buck Rogers" name and two ship variety art (see three ship variety boxed ship #2491). Ships come w/original generic strings. Attack Ship and Zeppelin are NM, w/just lt. aging to Exc. boxes. Others show moderate scattered paint wear and are VG-Fine overall. Boxes are lightly aged w/Battle Cruiser box having some scattered spots of staining. Fine/VF.
