Item Description
Each is approximately 15” wide w/“Buck Rogers” strip in 14x18.5” image area. All are front pages from “Houston Post-Dispatch” comic sections. Includes pages 1-23 and 32-40. Dates begin w/March 30 and end w/Dec. 28. Months of Sept. and Oct. are missing. Reverse sides have “Moon Mullins” strips. First page has a few lt. ink marks at top from storage w/other newspapers, blank left margins have edge wear as pulled from whole comic section, otherwise image areas are clean, supple and VF/Exc. Classic art and storylines by creators Phil Nowlan and Dick Calkins which paved the way for Flash Gordon, Superman and other sci-fi heroes. Early and historic instant collection seldom found in this condition. From the Don Maris Collection.
