Each is 20.5x29” overall w/eight pages in comic book format. 1941 dates are: Aug.17, Sept.21, Dec.7 (same date as Pearl Harbor attack). 1942 dates are: Feb.1, Oct.11, Oct.25. Storylines involve detective Denny Colt in mask as the Spirit, and other characters including stereotypical African-American sidekick Ebony, Commissioner Dolan, and his beautiful daughter Ellen.
