Following Lindbergh’s 1927 solo flight, this trio pictured and identified on the button as “Friendship Fliers” with their names across their photo “Lou Gordon-Amelia Earhart-Wilmer Stultz” made the flight from Newfoundland to Wales, United Kingdom. Earhart went along as a passenger although given the job of keeping the flight log. Interviewed after landing she said “Stultz Did All The Flying. Had To. I Was Just Baggage, Like A Sack Of Potatoes.” One of only 2 buttons we know of to picture her. Button is a souvenir of the massive ticker tape parade the crew received upon their return to New York. Our example in Auction #199 which included a Cammall Badge/Boston back paper not on this one exceeded $350.00 and had edge stain. This one is NM and displays Mint.
