Item Description
11/16" with name of maker on reverse "Whitehead-Hoag." Below this is the word "Sterling." After Japan surrendered and this project wound down, each of the approximately 132,000 project members received one of these pins. See previous item. Vast majority received a brass pin but this sterling version went to those serving longer than one year. .75" dia. Essentially Mint. Scarce.
