Item Description
2-5/16" tall with small but very beautifully detailed engraving of horse drawn pumper at center surrounded by text "Steamer/1/Canton/FD." The lettering is an inlaid black substance and four of the letters in the entire inscription are missing just a tiny speck of this. Vast majority remains and the finish on the piece is highly lustrous and mirror-like. Back of the piece at the top has tiny text naming maker as "J. Robbins Mfg. Co./Boston." Below at the center is hand engraving "John H. Flood/From M.C.O.F./1080 Votes." The piece has been tested as 14K gold and weighs 12.2 grams. Exc. and displays at least NM.
