Item Description
7/8" with no maker name. Depicted is one man in a shirt and tie with 17 other men wearing mock-turtleneck pullovers. Tiny text at bottom reads "1897/Dufferin B.C. Orangeville." Dufferin is a county and Orangeville is a city in Ontario.

We must amend our catalog description as we took tiny text to be "B.C." thinking the "B" didn't fully print, but it is really "L.C." for Lacrosse Club. The team formed in the 1860's and exists today as Orangeville Northmen. In 1897 they won the very first Ontario Lacrosse Association Championship and repeated in 1900 and 1901. Our thanks to Jim Dixon for the correct attribution.
