Item Description
Most of these are from the 1940s and 1950s and most are between 1" and 1-1/8". They are plastic but finished in various tones of copper or silver luster. About half retain full luster and about half have luster loss. Names in row one are Lou Ambers, Max Baer, Kid Chocolate, a second Kid Chocolate, Bob Fitzsimmons. In row two is a duplicate Bob Fitzsimmons, Harry Forbes, Harry Greb, James Jefferies, and a second Jefferies in brass rather than silver. Third row begins with a duplicate Jefferies in brass, Benny Leonard, Joe Louis, Ray Robinson, Jack Sharkey. Row four begins with duplicate Jack Sharkey, Fritzie Zivic, Golden Gloves, Feather Champ, Welter Champ. Football charms begin with one actually brass and reading "Sugar Bowl/1942/Fordham Vs. Missouri." Next is Alabama, Harvard with some tiny cracking near the loop, Mich., U Of Penn, Yale. Baseball charms begin with Illinois Illini, Red Sox, a more recent White Sox, Quincy Motor Co. '47, Wisconsin Badgers.
