Item Description
Buttons are 1.25" to 1.5" and rest of the items are to scale. First on leather strap is a fob with baseball styled circle encompassing an image of the building and with text reading "Baseball Centennial/1839/1939/Hall Of Fame Cooperstown N.Y." Small loss of silver luster but more off the back than the front. Second is 1.25" brass token with reverse much like the preceding fob and the front showing a ball player within a diamond surrounded by text "Birthplace Of Baseball/Doubleday Field 1939." No luster but little wear. Next is octagon shaped brass key fob also showing the building with the name below. Reverse has quotation about "Pioneers" credited to "Kenesaw M. Landis/Commissioner Of Baseball 1939." Next is an enamel shield suspending a brass baseball undated but quite early. Next is a small enamel charm. Reverse marked "Made In Germany." Metal is quite dark but may be just tarnished. Buttons include earlier pieces at the top of our photo with four pieces below that include "Guest 1973" ribbon "Guest 1979" ribbon "Staff" ribbon and "Guest" ribbon on a "76" button. All the buttons are Exc. and display Mint.
