Item Description
10x13.75” soft cover variety reprint comic ©1974 is signed in ink “Bob Overstreet Collection” on inside bottom cover. Minor spine creasing. Covers VF/Exc. contents NM. Comes w/6x9.25” c. 1970s die-cut Christmas card w/classic scene of Santa in front of Superman, Batman, Robin, and Captain Marvel along w/Teen Titans Wonder Girl, Aqualad, and Kid Flash saying “Season’s Greetings From The DC Super Stars!” Just beneath is Sol Harrison printed signature. Comes w/pair of 2.5x3.75” cards w/”DC” logo and text “With Warmest Wishes For A Wonderful Holiday-“ hand signed in ink “Sol Harrison”. All three are NM. Sol Harrison started in comics doing color separations for “Famous Funnies” in 1933. Harrison became production manager for All-American in 1942, and colored DC comic covers for 15 years. In 1973 he became VP , and became president of DC in 1976. He retired in 1981. Cards had limited distribution. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection. Comes w/COA.
