Item Description
All are first printings published by Jerry Weist assisted by Roger Hill and Bob Barrett. All are approximately 8.5x11 w/ page count ranging from 40 to 72. #1 Sept. 1967 has cover art by Hill w/man in spaceship looking at alien creature. Contents include photo articles on Al Williamson and Reed Crandall. #2 Sept. 1968 has Williamson cover w/Flash Gordon-type looking at prehistoric monster. Reed Crandall back cover has images from EC comics. Includes sketch art by Williamson. “Tiga” strips by Frazetta, profile w/art by Berni Wrightson, early visit to EC offices. #3 from 1969 has Feldstein front cover, Crandall back cover. Includes visit w/Frazetta by Barrett including unpublished Flash Gordon strips, art by Evans, Crandall, and Nightmaster by Wrightson. Trace of lt. wear here and there, otherwise all are Exc./NM. One of the best publications ever done for EC comics. Lt. creasing and minor cover wear. Fine/VF overall. Great reading. All had low print runs. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection. Comes w/COA.
