Item Description
Sizes are 7/8" to 2.75" oval. First four are from early 1900s. On the first "Is It Hot Enough For You" top edge has small age mark. Next "I'm A Devil" is c.1912 with Hassan Cigarette back paper. Third promoting a furnace maker with six devils jumping out due to the heat has all over stain but is still a neat early design with W&H back paper. Fourth is another cigarette give-away button but no back paper. Art by Hoffman with text "You're An Awful Jinx." Next c.1930s reads "H P Club." Next is early but very badly stained button from the "St. Paul Winter Carnival 1899-1900" showing a pair of devils against a wall of flames with caption "Make It A Hot One." Last four are more modern issues with the one reading "Devil's Retail Advocate" being a pocket mirror. The one reading "S.I.N." has a clip on the reverse rather than a pin. The last apparently relates to a high school. Conditions are Exc. to Mint with the exceptions being noted.
